\n Review the charts below for additional information, including academic activities that may require verification signatures. Contact your campus BTH coordinator to discuss who may be able to sign required verification forms.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Some types of childcare assistance may require 87 hours per month, or approximately 21.5 hours per week, to receive the maximum benefit. Different rules or greater flexibility may apply when using licensed or accredited childcare providers. Confirm your requirements with the appropriate childcare program.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/details>\n\n

\n \n What are \u201ccore\u201d hours?<\/strong>\n <\/summary>\n\n

\n Core hours are hours completed through qualifying core activities. Paid employment and supervised volunteer work may qualify as core activities.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Academic classroom hours may also qualify as core hours for up to 12 months through the Vocational Education Training option. Ask your FTW case manager which activities qualify in your individual plan.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

\n Households with a child younger than age 6 are generally required to complete 20 core hours<\/strong>.\n <\/p>\n

\n Households in which the youngest child is age 6 or older are generally required to complete 30 total hours<\/strong>: 20 core hours and 10 non-core hours<\/strong>.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/details>\n\n
