\n Bridge to Hope is a partnership between the University of Hawai\u02bbi\n and the Hawai\u02bbi State Department of Human Services\u2019 First-to-Work\n program.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Bridge to Hope offers on-campus student employment for full-time\n enrolled students who have a First-to-Work employment requirement.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n BTH also connects students with support services to help\n welfare-recipient students succeed in reaching their educational\n goals. Bridge to Hope is available at University of Hawai\u02bbi campuses\n statewide.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/details>\n\n

\n \n What is BTH\u2019s relationship with First-to-Work?<\/strong>\n <\/summary>\n\n
\n

\n Bridge to Hope is a University of Hawai\u02bbi program that serves\n students participating in First-to-Work. Participation in BTH is\n voluntary and is intended to help students meet FTW employment\n requirements while balancing school, work, and family\n responsibilities.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Both FTW and BTH are bound by confidentiality requirements and may\n only share information when permission is specifically granted by\n the student or client.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Bridge to Hope staff are University educators, while First-to-Work\n staff are welfare case managers. These systems work together to\n support college education as a pathway toward economic\n self-sufficiency.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/details>\n\n
