Notice: macOS 27 (Golden Gate) Advisory (Sep 11 1:35 pm)

Apple will release macOS 27 (Golden Gate) on Monday, September 14, 2026. This major update takes the operating system from version 26 to version 27.

As with any major operating system update, older or specialized applications may experience compatibility issues upon initial release. While the majority of applications are expected to continue functioning normally, ITS recommends that users verify the compatibility of any critical software prior to upgrading.

Critical Software Advisory

ITS Enterprise VPN (GlobalProtect): Users relying on the GlobalProtect VPN client are strongly advised to delay upgrading to macOS Golden Gate until ITS can fully test and confirm compatibility.
