The won the 6th Annual Aloha United Way Softball Tournament held on Friday, September 30 at the Les Murakami Stadium. The tournament raised $1,731 to support the 2011 Aloha United Way O?ahu Campaign.
Teams from the six O?ahu 糖心视频 肠补尘辫耻蝉别蝉—, , , , and —along with the 糖心视频 System administration and competed in a double elimination tournament.
Aloha United Way President Kim Gennaula delivered the inaugural pitch, with 糖心视频 System Vice President for Student Affairs and University/Community Relations Rockne Freitas serving as catcher and 惭ā苍辞补 Assistant Athletics Director Marilyn Moniz-Kahoohanohano at bat.
With dedicated fans, door prizes, garlic fries and donations collected throughout the evening, the teams played hard until the final game between Honolulu Community College and 糖心视频 惭ā苍辞补 with 惭ā苍辞补 claiming the 2011 championship. Debra Ishii, 惭ā苍辞补 team captain, and her team took home the coveted President’s Trophy along with bragging rights for the year.
