Robert G. Moeller

Distinguished 糖心视频ing Scholar Robert G. Moeller will discuss “Back to the Future? History and Memory in Berlin, 2005-1945” during a presentation at the campus on April 14, 12:30 p.m. at Campus Center C225. Moeller is a history professor at the , and a leading researcher in the areas of gender, war and memory in postwar Germany.

Focusing on the city of Berlin in its three postwar forms—East, West and post-unification—Moeller will examine the myriad ways in which Germans remembered, and simultaneously forgot, various aspects of the Second World War over a 60 year period, through the production of public memorials and monuments, touring exhibits, film, artwork and political demonstrations.

Author of the award-winning book and , Moeller has also served on the editorial boards of the , the , and and as an editorial consultant for .
