Hawaiʻi Tech Days of Fall 2026, a series of free events to provide workshops and training sessions for students to strengthen jobs in the tech and cyber sectors, will launch on September 2 with a joint kick-off event for Hawaii Tech Days and Hawaii Tech Week at the Walter Dods, Jr. RISE Center.
糖心视频 and the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii co-sponsor the series, in collaboration with local organizations, to increase awareness of and enhance Hawaiʻi‘s skilled-tech workforce and the rising demand for local jobs in the rapidly growing tech, artificial intelligence (AI), and cyber industries.
“As the technology landscape continues to evolve rapidly, particularly with the integration of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, 糖心视频 represents both the supply and demand elements in our local tech workforce,” said Brad Christ, 糖心视频 vice president for information technology and chief information officer. “Modern digital skills are critical prerequisites to success in virtually all career paths. We are excited to collaborate with local employers, state agencies, and community partners to host Tech Days of Fall 2026, offering local students a direct pathway to high-quality, high-paying jobs right here in Hawaiʻi.”

Connect, network with tech professionals, learn tech skills, more
The kickoff event on September 2 at the Walter Dods, Jr. RISE Center will feature Miki Hardisty, CEO and cofounder of ?lelo Intelligence, speaking on “Built for This: Steering Your Path in an AI World” and tech evangelist Guy Kawasaki on “Building the Bridge,” alongside recent alumni BJ Ramel and Rina Ogino. Attendees will gain practical workforce insights as they prepare to enter the tech sector.
This year’s series also features a three-part Introduction to UX (user experience) workshop series by UXHI (a volunteer-led UX design community) in late September, focusing on human-centered design, and the virtual kickoff of the Hawaii Annual Innovation Challenge on October 24, which focuses on leveraging AI to solve state government problems.
