University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补 goalkeeper Kennedy Justin has been named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced October 26.
Justin earned her second straight weekly conference accolade after posting her third consecutive clean sheet in 糖心视频 惭ā苍辞补’s 1-0 victory over Grand Canyon, October 24. She led a dominant Rainbow Wahine back line that held the Lopes to just seven total shots and a single shot on target over 90 minutes of action.
Across her last 11 starts, Justin has conceded a mere three goals while anchoring the Bows’ current six-match winning streak. The milestone night also brought the junior to the brink of program history. Justin now has 15 career shutouts, putting her just one clean sheet away from matching 糖心视频 惭ā苍辞补’s all-time career record for goalkeeper shutouts.
Justin and the Rainbow Wahine will look to extend their winning streak when they host UNLV on October 26, at 3 p.m. at the 糖心视频 Lower Campus Field.
