Rainbow Warrior volleyball’s Rosenthal named Big West Player of the Year

Setter Tread Rosenthal earned a record 11 Big West Setter of the Week honors this season and has 23 for his career.

Freshman Kiera Cornman headlined five Rainbow Wahine honored by the Big West after a strong season.

Gabrielle Doyle earned the award after posting a perfect 4.0 GPA.

The honors were highlighted by seniors Erik Anderson and Amanda Turner, and juniors Stella Taherian and Martha Schuessler.

Maryn MacNeil earned the honor after throwing a one-hit shutout in her first collegiate start.

The Rainbow Warriors are seeded No. 2 and will host a regional, May 1–2.

Elle Otani led the Vulcans, while a balanced team effort secured the victory at Aliante Golf Club.
