The campus open house event, held each spring, averages more than 2,000 people. The <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心视频<\/abbr> 10-campus system <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/news\/2020\/03\/12\/uh-actions-address-covid-19\/\">announced on Thursday, March 12<\/a>, that large, university-sponsored public events would be postponed or canceled, one the actions <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> has taken in response COVID-19.<\/p>\n<h2>Affected events<\/h2>\n<p><strong>M\u0101noa Experience<\/strong>: April 4&#8212;<abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa campus<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admitted Student Receptions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>March 22&#8212;Merriman\u02bbs Waimea; Waimea, <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span><\/li>\n<li>March 29&#8212;<span aria-label=\"Kauai\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span> Marriott Resort; <span aria-label=\"Lihue,\">L&#299;hu&#699;e,<\/span> <span aria-label=\"Kauai\">Kaua&#699;i<\/span><\/li>\n<li>March 29&#8212;King Kamehameha Golf Club; Wailuku, Maui<\/li>\n<li>April 14&#8212;<span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Prince Hotel Waikiki<\/li>\n<li>April 22&#8212;<span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Prince Hotel Waikiki<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>M\u0101noa Scholar-to-Scholar Day<\/strong>: April 17&#8212;<abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa campus<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship Brunch<\/strong>: April 18&#8212;Waikiki Beach Marriott<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are disappointed that circumstances have led to this decision,&rdquo; said <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management <strong>Roxie Shabazz<\/strong>. &ldquo;We are incredibly sorry for this inconvenience, as our faculty, staff and community partners were looking forward to connecting with members of the community.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uhfoundation.org\/give\/giving-opportunity\/covid-19\">Support the <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> Student Relief fund and COVID-19 research<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa admissions office will begin offering accepted student webinars the week of March 30. The webinars will cover all the topics and information normally presented at the in-person receptions and provide an opportunity for accepted students and their parents to ask questions. More information will be provided via email to those who registered for one the receptions and can be found on the <a href=\"http:\/\/manoa.hawaii.edu\/admissions\"><abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Admissions website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A meet-and-greet event on campus is being planned during the <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Week of Welcome before the first day of fall semester. More information will be provided over the summer as the details are finalized.<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Office of Admissions is still conducting campus tours and informational sessions as scheduled, however cannot accommodate group tour requests.
