In addition, Abe\u2019s Wafu &#699;Ulu Stew will be featured as a Localicious&#174; dish and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> Agricultural Foundation.<\/p>\n<h2>Good exposure<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Lauren Tamamoto<\/strong>, <span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr> Culinary Innovation Center coordinator, said, &ldquo;To see your dish at a store or many stores in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>, I think that\u2019s pretty cool and I think it\u2019s a good experience, good exposure for students.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr> student <strong>Socorro Jiho<\/strong> came in third place and won $750 for her dish, Bistec A La Mexicana con Arroz Primavera.<\/p>\n<p>Other finalists and their dishes included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chris Fujimoto<\/strong> (<span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>), Salsa Chicken with Beans and Rice<\/li>\n<li><strong>Elijah Madayag<\/strong> (<span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>), Shrimp Pinakbet<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kaleb Molina<\/strong> (Leeward <abbr>CC<\/abbr>), Kalua Pork Hash Patties<\/li>\n<li><strong>Owen Saito<\/strong> (<span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>), Ginger Miso Salmon Bento<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kevin Wu<\/strong> (<span aria-label=\"Kapiolani\">Kapi&#699;olani<\/span> <abbr>CC<\/abbr>), Betty\u2019s Beef Noodle Soup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Win-win for all<\/h2>\n<p>This is the third year that 7-Eleven Hawaii has sponsored the &ldquo;On the Line&rdquo; culinary competition at <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr>. Criteria for this year\u2019s entries included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fits in a standard 7-Eleven Hawaii entr\u00e9e container<\/li>\n<li>No more than 700 calories per entr\u00e9e\/bento<\/li>\n<li>&ldquo;Good Source of Fiber&rdquo; 5 or more grams of fiber per entr\u00e9e\/bento<\/li>\n<li>Less than 10 grams fat per entr\u00e9e\/bento<\/li>\n<li>Must contain a minimum of two locally grown, caught or raised products<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to be displayed in a warmer for four hours without compromising flavor or appeal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&ldquo;It\u2019s a win-win for all of us,&rdquo; said Debbie Lee Soon, 7-Eleven Hawaii senior category manager. &ldquo;They get the award. 7-Eleven gets a great dish to introduce to our customers.
