After the pandemic prompted the cancellation of the 2020 Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl, the program announced it will return this coming football bowl season. Since Aloha Stadium will not be available for the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> football season, the bowl game will be held at the newly renovated Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex<\/a> on the 糖心视频<\/abbr> Mānoa campus.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s contest will feature representatives from the Mountain West Conference versus the American Athletic Conference (AAC<\/abbr>). <\/p>\n

“We look forward to the 2021 Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl and the opportunities the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex will provide our fans to continue their holiday tradition of cheering for their favorite teams in person,” executive director Daryl Garvin said.<\/p>\n

The Ching Athletics Complex will serve as the temporary home of the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl while the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District is completed. The Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl was held at Aloha Stadium every year from 2002 to 2019. The new stadium is projected to open in 2024.<\/p>\n

糖心视频<\/abbr> won the last Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl played in 2019 with a thrilling 38-34 victory.<\/p>\n

A Mountain West team has played in the Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl every year since 2012. The AAC<\/abbr> will send a representative for the third time in Hawaiʻi<\/span> Bowl history.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
