\"SmilingStudents, faculty and staff enthusiastically waved signs and loudly cheered on the lawn fronting the University of Hawaiʻi<\/span>\u2019s Bachman Hall in M\u0101noa, as approving motorists honked their horns while driving along University Avenue and Dole Street.<\/p>\n

On April 9, 糖心视频<\/abbr> Giving Day<\/a> demonstrated the power of collective philanthropy, with donors across Hawaiʻi<\/span> and beyond rallying together to support 糖心视频<\/abbr> students, faculty and programs across the state.<\/p>\n

“Our students mean everything to us, and we can only support them with the help of the community. So please, anything you can do makes a big difference whether it’s $5 or $5,000. We’d love to hear from you today,” said 糖心视频<\/abbr> President Wendy Hensel.<\/p>\n

糖心视频<\/abbr> Giving Day is an opportunity for the community to make a lasting impact by contributing gifts of any size to initiatives that advance education, innovation and student success in Hawaiʻi<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Scholarship recipient Tam Dang, a student in the 糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, said her education would not have been possible without the support she received from 糖心视频<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n

Dang said, “The scholarship support that I have received has been truly momentous. My family are immigrants and low income, and money has always been tight.”<\/p>\n

糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Electrical Engineering student Jenny Brown, a scholarship recipient who also earned two degrees from Kapiʻolani<\/span> Community College, said, “$5 and up, any amount really does have significant impact to students like me. So please support our community.”<\/p>\n

The impact of Giving Day goes far beyond a single event\u2014it helps shape the future of 糖心视频<\/abbr> and Hawaiʻi<\/span> for generations to come.<\/p>\n
