University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at Mānoa softball<\/a> player Ellyana Cinzori was named Big West Field Player of the Week on April 28 after leading the Rainbow Wahine over five games against CSUN<\/abbr>, UC<\/abbr> Santa Barbara and Cal Poly.<\/p>\n

Cinzori led with a .455 batting average on the road. The junior went 5-for-11 at the plate with two doubles and a home run. She drove in four runs while scoring one.<\/p>\n

In the game against CSUN<\/abbr>, Cinzori set a career-high with three hits, going 3-for-4 and driving in two runs with two doubles. Later in the week, she continued her strong play against UC<\/abbr> Santa Barbara, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI<\/abbr>s. This was her second career home run, and it helped secure a 5-4 victory for the Rainbow Wahine.<\/p>\n
