This week\u2019s 糖心视频<\/abbr> News<\/em> Image of the Week is from the 糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa Office of the Vice Provost for Student Success and the Queen Liliʻuokalani<\/span> Center for Student Services (QLCSS<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n

Students, faculty and staff gathered to present oli (chant), drape lei, and offer hoʻokupu<\/span> (offerings) on September 2. This marked the start of the E Liliʻu<\/span> Ē celebration at QLCSS<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n

The event honors Queen Liliʻuokalani<\/span>‘s birthday and the beginning of Hawaiian History Month. 2025 marks Hawaiʻi<\/span>‘s first official Hawaiian History Month<\/a> following the adoption of Act 167 earlier in the year.<\/p>\n
