The University of Hawaiʻi<\/span> at M\u0101noa men’s volleyball team<\/a> was picked No.<\/abbr> 2 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA<\/abbr>) preseason poll, marking the eighth consecutive year that the team earned a top 3 preseason ranking.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Warriors earned seven first place votes and 473 total points, just eight points behind preseason favorite UCLA<\/abbr>, who garnered 12 first place votes. Long Beach State was ranked third with five first place votes and 460 points.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Bows finished last season with a No.<\/abbr> 3 final AVCA<\/abbr> ranking after advancing to the NCAA<\/abbr> Championship semifinal round. The No.<\/abbr> 3 ranking marked the eighth consecutive year with a top 5 national finish. 糖心视频<\/abbr> M\u0101noa completed the year with a 27\u20136 record and captured its fourth Big West Championship title, defeating eventual national champion Long Beach State in the championship match.<\/p>\n

Head Coach Charlie Wade, who became the program’s all-time winningest coach last season, is entering his 17th<\/abbr> season at the helm with a career record of 319\u2013131.<\/p>\n
