The Education to Workforce Report highlights <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawaiipublicschools.org\/Pages\/Home.aspx\"><span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> State Department of Education<\/a> (<abbr>HIDOE<\/abbr>) graduates enrollment, persistence and <abbr title=\"science, technology, engineering and mathematics\">STEM<\/abbr> degree attainment at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/\">University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span><\/a> campuses and whether these students end up in the local workforce.<\/p>\n<p>Between 2016 and 2026, <abbr>STEM<\/abbr> occupations in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> are projected to grow 3.7 percent to 31,965 jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Key report highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since 2015, the number of <abbr>HIDOE<\/abbr> graduates who earned a <abbr>STEM<\/abbr> honors certificate or completed <abbr>STEM<\/abbr>-related Career Technical Education (<abbr>CTE<\/abbr>) courses of study has increased.<\/li>\n<li><abbr>HIDOE<\/abbr> graduates who earned a <abbr>STEM<\/abbr> honors certificate or completed <abbr>STEM<\/abbr>-related <abbr>CTE<\/abbr> course of study had higher college enrollment rates compared to the statewide average.<\/li>\n<li>The number of <abbr title=\"University of Hawaii\">糖心视频<\/abbr> graduates earning a <abbr>STEM<\/abbr> degree or certificate has increased over recent academic years.<\/li>\n<li><abbr>STEM<\/abbr> graduates who earned technology degrees were more likely to be found in <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span>&#8216;s workforce five years after <abbr>糖心视频<\/abbr> graduation than other <abbr>STEM<\/abbr> graduates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report was created in partnership with the Office of the State Director for Career and Technical Education and is the first issue of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Hawai&#699;i<\/span> P&#8211;20\u2019s annual Education to Workforce Report.<\/p>\n<p>Download the full report at
