Helen Zughaib was born in Beirut, Lebanon. She received her BFA from the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University. Her paintings are in the collections of the White House, World Bank, Library of Congress, US Consulate, Vancouver, American Embassy in Baghdad, Arab American National Museum, Minneapolis Institute of Art, DC Art Bank, and Barjeel Art Foundation Collection. Her work has been included in Art in Embassy State Department exhibitions in such countries as Brunei, Nicaragua, Mauritius, Iraq, Belgium, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Abu Dhabi, and Nigeria. Helen has served as cultural Eenvoy to Palestine, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Abu Dhabi. The John F. Kennedy Center/REACH in Washington, DC, selected Helen for the 2021–2024 Inaugural Social Impact Practice residency. She is a 2025 Senior Fellow at Abraham Path Initiative. Her paintings have been gifted to heads of state by President Obama and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
