Fall 2026 UROP Information Sessions

The in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Scholarship promotes and coordinates financial and programmatic support for undergraduates in all disciplines to conduct mentored research and creative work. All information sessions will be held as hybrid (in person and over Zoom) events.

The Fall 2026 application cycle for and funding lasts from September 9 to October 10. Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply for thousands of dollars in funding to support research or creative work outside of the classroom. Successful applicants will be awarded in Spring 2027.

  • The general information session (September 8 at 12 p.m.) is intended for students, faculty, and staff who are interested in learning about all of UROP's funding opportunities, programming, and resources. Register to attend .
  • The Entering Research and Creative Work (ERC) and ForagerOne information session (September 9 at 2:30 p.m.) is intended for undergraduate students early in their academic career interested in exploring research or creative work, as well as faculty and staff. Register to attend .
  • The Project and Presentation information session (September 10 at 10:30 a.m.) is intended for undergraduate students at any stage of their academic program who are ready to propose their own mentored research or creative work project, as well as faculty and staff. Register to attend .
