Designing and Developing Virtual Tours Using H5P Tools Within Lamaku
September 29, 12:00pm - 1:30pmMānoa Campus, Online
Virtual tours provide “near-authentic” online learning experiences by engaging learners with interactive digital content that closely aligns with real-world interactions. The 360-degree interactive learning experience allows learners to explore a space virtually, examine detailed images, and interact with text and sound content. This makes virtual tours a great learning tool for almost any subject matter, including STEM topics, history, geography, language learning, and so on. Virtual tours can also be used to augment online training and orientation sessions for new students and new recruits. They are used widely in healthcare and industrial training as well. Embedded H5P technologies help us build virtual tours within Lamaku. In addition, there are other H5P technologies that can be used to create innovative course assignments and activities that are interesting and meaningful for students to engage in.
