Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle symposium

Researchers, resource managers, and community members are invited to the third annual Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Science and Management Symposium. Learn about strategies to contain this invasive pest that is devastating palm trees and coconut supplies throughout the state. The final day of the symposium, September 24, is a field trip to Wahiawā and a Community Day at Ƶ West Oʻahu that will highlight community-led response work, public outreach, and practical tools for detecting CRB breeding sites and managing infestations to protect local trees and residential areas.
