Cross-Cultural Conversations

Join us for dialogue with students from Eikei University in Hiroshima, Japan. The sessions will includes an interactive presentation, and then followed by structured conversations in English with students in Japan. Developing cross-cultural understanding assists in becoming culturally aware. It is a continuous process, to have curiosity, an open mind, a willingness to ask questions, a desire to learn about the differences that exist between cultures, and an openness to becoming conscious of one’s own culturally shaped values, beliefs, perceptions, and biases.
