All 10 糖心视频 campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green’s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

student-athletes excelled in performing community service, earning them nationwide recognition and a spot in the top NCAA Division II Helper Helper schools.

Based on community service hours per student-athlete, the Vulcan athletes ranked 39th out of 314 NCAA Division II schools. The Vulcans totaled 1,642 service hours before shelter-in-place measures slowed their efforts.

Two 糖心视频 Hilo teams placed in the top 10 of their respective sports—the Vulcan men’s tennis team ranked fifth in the nation, and the 糖心视频 Hilo women’s tennis team was ninth. Both teams averaged more than 15 hours per student-athlete in the COVID-19 shortened school year.

“I am very proud of what our student-athletes contribute to our community,” said Vulcan Athletic Director Patrick Guillen. “The Big Island is very service oriented, and our coaches and teams work hard to reflect that giving spirit.”

Around the country and across all three NCAA divisions, 467,000 student-athletes contributed 251,551 hours of service to their communities. Their 9,677 events had an economic impact of $11.88 million dollars. The full report is available on the .
