Track and field thrower achieves Big West Field Athlete honors

University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa thrower Hallee Mohr earned the Big West Field Athlete of the Week honors for the first time on April 16, after a weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Mohr took home victory at Azusa Pacific University with a Big West-leading mark of 55.53m (182-2). The senior thrower also set a meet record with her throw and sits in 29th nationally in discus. Mohr also moved into fourth in the Big West in the shot put after reaching 14.28m (46-10.25) to place fourth in the meet.
