The Mountain West Conference has announced that all remaining schools, including the University of Hawaiʻi, have signed a memorandum of understanding, affirming their commitment to the Mountain West. The conference and the institutions have also formally agreed to execute a Grant of Media Rights from the member institutions to the conference from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2032. (.)

We will continue to prioritize the student-athlete experience and do all we can to support our institutions as they compete at the highest levels of intercollegiate athletics.”
The United States Air Force Academy, University of Hawaiʻi at 惭ā苍辞补, University of Nevada, Reno, University of New Mexico, San José State University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of Wyoming all are a part of the new agreement with the Mountain West.
