The core responsibilities of this committee shall be as follows:
- Oversight of the university鈥檚 mission and programs related to Native Hawaiians
- Liaison with key cultural and community organizations
- Oversight of policies related to community, government, and industry relations, ensuring the university remains responsive to the needs of the state
