F-1 and J-1 students must have a U.S. residence at all times to maintain their visa status. Any changes to the address must be reported within 10 days. At 糖心视频M, the U.S. residence is entered in the student records as a "Current Residence." Follow the directions below to enter or update your "Current Residence." Students should also enter a U.S. phone. Never let your "Current Residence" address expire or be left blank.
- Login in with your 糖心视频 username and password to go to of your account in the 糖心视频 Student Dashboard.
- On the new page, find the section for "Address." If you do not see any labeled "Current Residence," click "+ Add New" on the right-hand side. This address type should be labeled as "Current Residence."
- In the pop-up window, enter your address. Fill in the following fields:
- Type of Address: Current Residence
- Valid From: [current date]
- Valid To: [Enter a date far into the future so that it does not expire while you are enrolled. (Example: 12/31/2099)]
- Address Line 1: [Street address and room number (if dorm) or apartment number (if apartment). Name of your building is not required. If you live on one property with more than one house or unit, you can put the unit number.]
- City: [Honolulu]
- State/Province: [Hawaii]
- Zip/Postal Code: [enter the zip/postal code]
- Leave everything else blank. Then click "Add."
To add your U.S. phone, go to the section for "Phone Number." If you already have a Current Phone, you may update it to you U.S. phone number. If you do not, you must add it. On the pop-up window, set it as your Current Phone, then enter the area code in one box, and the remaining 7-digits in the other box. Do not enter an extension or international number. Check the "primary" box, then click "Add."
