Astronauts For America Danny Olivas Keynote, Discussion, and Space Ice Cream

October 15, 2:30pm - 4:30pm
Mānoa Campus, POST 544

What can seeing Earth from space teach us about life on the ground? As part of its national VOTE FOR FREEDOM campus tour, Astronauts For America (AFA) is bringing former NASA astronauts to college campuses across the country for conversations with students about civic participation, public service, and the importance of taking part in our democracy. Through moderated discussions and student Q&A, former astronauts will share perspectives shaped by their experiences in space, where teamwork, shared responsibility, and a common mission are essential. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions, hear firsthand stories, and explore how these lessons connect to civic life on Earth. A nonpartisan initiative, VOTE FOR FREEDOM encourages students to make their voices heard and participate in our democracy. Because going to the polls is one small step for you, and one giant leap for our country. Join Astronaut Danny Olivas at the 糖心视频 Manoa Earth and Planetary Exploration Technology Program this Thursday in POST 544 ?
