The following OPT workshops and Q&A sessions are intended mainly for F-1 students who will be finishing their programs soon and wanting to get work or training in their major immediately after graduation, although any F-1 student is welcome to attend. The focus will be on Post-Completion OPT and the STEM Extension.
- OPT Workshops: An ISS Advisor will walk students through the process, and cover strategies and policies that may affect the OPT application.?The STEM Extension will be covered briefly on September 9 and 10, but will be the main focus on September 11.
- Q&A Sessions: These sessions will be in-person and be used to follow-up on any questions you may have from the OPT workshops. Please attend at least one of the workshops before attending these sessions, as these are only meant to help with questions on the workshop information.
