On February 29, President Trump issued a within the 14 days of entry or attempted entry into the U.S. The ban excludes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and immediate family members. This is the same ban as the one issued for China.
On March 1, President Trump indicated in a tweet that travel restrictions would be implemented for persons coming from Italy and South Korea. Although no details have yet been provided, it is expected to include exit screening (from impacted countries) and entry screening (to the U.S.).
