On March 11, President Trump announced a travel ban for Europe. Specifically, the U.S. will not allow entry for persons who have been in any country in the Schengen Area of Europe within 14 days of entry or attempted entry. Excluded from this ban are U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents and immediate family members, and certain visa types. This takes effect at midnight on March 13.
